The story so far......
Peter Jones was born on October 6th 1980. At just fifteen months of age Peter lost his sight due to Retinoblastoma. From an early age Peter displayed a passion for all things musical and began to play piano at the tender age of four.
“I’ve always felt that my ears have made up for the loss of my sight and music has always been a big part of my life.” Peter Jones.
Throughout his formative school years Peter was eager to take part in all kinds of musical activities – school plays, music festivals and concerts. One of the highlights of his young life was winning the junior final of BBC’s ‘Song for Christmas’ in 1988, where he met producer Bob Howes. Peter excelled in his studies or music and music technology and from an early age performed in various bands, singing and playing across all genres and styles.
Peter soon became a true multi-instrumentalist fluent on piano, keyboards, guitars, bass, sax, clarinet, various recorders, whistles, drum kit and percussion. Further, Peter has become renowned for his amazing songwriting and production skills creating authentically in every style and genre.
Forming the well known male/female duo '2 to go' in 1999 Peter gained broad experience of the wider music industry becoming a finalist of Jane McDonald’s ‘Star For A Night’ in October 2001 and ITV’s ‘The X Factor’ in 2004. Going on to work alongside celebrities such as Lemar, McFly, Natasha Bedingfield, Jools Holland, Jackie Graham and Candi Staton. Playing to crowds of 15,000 people.
Peter is now a highly experienced and time-served industry veteran and is set to become one of the U.K.s most prolific singer songwriters and is well deserving of the accolade.

When I sing or play, however, I feel as though I am who I want to be, as if I can only be myself through my music. I believe music is a huge part of us all.
